The Company of Adventurers presents an all-girls production of Shakespeare’s unforgettable tragedy, Hamlet! Upon learning from his dead father’s ghost that his uncle has murdered his father, Hamlet is set on a tortuous path of moral self-questioning, paranoia, and madness. But is he truly mad or merely acting mad? “The play’s the thing, wherein I’ll catch the conscience of the king,” Hamlet tells us. And so he sets a trap, a “mouse trap,” in the form of a play put on by a group of travelling actors which will reveal the guilt of his uncle. But Hamlet is not the only one who is acting. And there are so many traps!
Tickets are FREE! This show is a fundraiser for The Gladstone Theatre. Actors will pass hats after the show to raise money for The Gladstone. The show runs 2.5 hours with a 15-minute intermission. Suitable for all ages.
